AI Photo Booth Rental Columbus, Ohio vs. a Regular Booth

An AI photo booth rental in Columbus, Ohio costs more than a regular booth. At 2 hours, the AI Booth is $399 and the Digital Booth is $228. So the honest question is whether the extra $171 is worth it for your event. This post puts the booths side by side and then looks at where the AI Booth earns its price around Central Ohio.

Side by side at 2 hours

Here is how the four main photo and video booths compare for a 2-hour rental, before tax:

• Digital Booth, $228. Photos, GIFs and boomerangs sent to phones. Prints only if you add unlimited printing for $240.
• 360 Booth, $249. Slow-motion spin videos sent to phones. No prints.
• Printer Booth, $298. Unlimited prints with your names, date and colors.
• AI Booth, $399. Each photo turned into art, plus unlimited prints and a digital copy.

Every booth includes props and a personalized design. The difference with the AI Booth is what happens after the shutter. A regular booth gives guests a nice photo of themselves. The AI Booth gives them a version of themselves they could not have taken anywhere else.

What the AI Booth does differently

Guests take a photo and, in just a few seconds, AI turns it into a new image. Popular styles are superheroes, cartoons and vintage portraits, but the best results usually come from a theme built around your event. Tell us the theme and we set up styles to match.

Because it prints, the AI Booth works like a Printer Booth for guests who want a keepsake. Because it also gives a digital copy, it works like a Digital Booth for guests who want to post. The art itself is what people end up talking about the next day.

When it wins, and when it doesn't

It wins at corporate events and conferences. A science center like COSI downtown is a natural fit for the AI Booth, where guests turn into superheroes or a theme tied to your company. Brand events and company parties at The Exchange at Bridge Park in Dublin also suit it, especially with a customized picture carrying your logo.

Sample company party: AI Booth for 4 hours ($499), customized picture ($150), an attendant for 4 hours ($200) and delivery ($75). That is $924 before tax.

It wins at theme parties and kids' birthdays. A superhero party in Powell, Lewis Center or Pickerington practically plans itself around this booth. Kids get a printed comic-book version of themselves to take home.

It is not always the right pick. If budget is the main concern, the Digital Booth at $228 covers the basics. For a formal wedding where guests want to look like themselves at their best, the Glam Booth fits better. If you want the dance floor crowd lined up, the 360 Booth is built for that.

We cover Dublin, Westerville, Worthington, Hilliard, Grove City, Gahanna, New Albany and the rest of Central Ohio. See the Columbus photo booth rental page for the full area.
