Magazine Box Photo Booth Rental Atlanta: 3 Ways to Book

There are three ways to set up a magazine box photo booth rental in Atlanta. They all start with the same thing: a life-size, light-up magazine cover your guests step into, customized with your names, date and headlines. What changes is how guests walk away with their photos.
- Option 1: The box on its own. Guests shoot on their own phones.
- Option 2: The box plus a photo booth next to it, for prints or instant sharing.
- Option 3: The box plus a photographer stationed with it.
Here's what each one costs and which Atlanta events it suits.
Option 1: The Magazine Box on its own
The Magazine Box is $850 for the whole day. That includes the life-size box, standard customization of the cover and a lighting kit. The lighting is what makes phone photos look like a print edition instead of a dark party snapshot.
Guests take photos on their own phones, so there's no screen to learn and no line for a printer. Friends take turns shooting each other, and the photos are on their phones right away.
This option fits best when:
- It's a milestone birthday. A 40th or 50th in Buckhead or Alpharetta where the guest of honor's name is the headline and everyone wants their turn on the cover.
- It's a bridal shower or bachelorette. A group in matching outfits fills the frame, and they're going to post the photos either way.
- You want one statement piece. The box works as decor as much as a photo spot, so it stands out even when nobody is posing.
Option 2: Add a printer or digital booth
If you want guests to leave with something in hand, add a booth beside the box.
- Printer photo booth: $550. A booth next to the box that prints for every guest. It's one of the most popular add-ons.
- 4x6 prints: $250. Bigger prints from the printer booth. Only available with the printer booth.
- Digital photo booth: $450. Photos, GIFs and boomerangs sent straight to guests' phones.
A box with the printer booth is $1,400 before the travel fee. With 4x6 prints, it's $1,650.
This setup suits weddings and quinceañeras where guests expect a keepsake. A garden wedding at the Atlanta Botanical Garden in Midtown with the box near the reception gives guests a cover photo on their phone and a print to take home. In Roswell, Johns Creek or Lawrenceville banquet rooms, the printer booth keeps older guests involved who'd rather not fuss with their phones.
Option 3: Add a photographer
A photographer stationed with the Magazine Box is $750. Instead of guests passing phones back and forth, a professional handles the shots, so every group gets a properly framed cover photo.
This is the pick for galas and fundraisers. A gala at the Fox Theatre in Midtown or an evening event at the Georgia Aquarium downtown usually has guests in formal wear who want a polished photo, and a photographer makes sure the cover looks like a real magazine. It also works for weddings where the couple wants the box photos to match the rest of their wedding album.
The box with a photographer is $1,600 before the travel fee.
