360 Photo Booth Rental New York City: Space and Setup Guide

Before you book a 360 photo booth rental in New York City, picture the room. A 360 Booth isn't a box in the corner. Guests step onto a platform, a camera circles around them, and a crowd gathers to watch. That needs open floor, a good wall behind it and a clear path for the line. This guide walks through the space first, then the prices.
Walk the room before you book
New York event spaces can be tight, tall or tucked away. Before you lock in a date, check these things:
- Open floor around the platform. The camera circles all the way around, so the platform can't be pushed into a corner. Leave a clear circle with room for people to stand and watch.
- A wall for the backdrop. The background shows up in every video. A plain wall works, but a shimmery sequin backdrop ($100) or an LED inflatable ($240) makes the spin look much bigger.
- Where the line goes. Groups of 1 to 4 guests step on at a time, depending on the platform size. Put the line somewhere it won't block the bar or the dance floor.
- How the gear gets in. Stairs, a narrow hallway or a long walk from the curb are worth mentioning when you book delivery, so setup goes smoothly.
- Light. Dim ballrooms look great in person and dark on video. The extra lighting kit is $145.
Three kinds of New York rooms
A big open hall. The open event spaces at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan are the kind of room a 360 Booth likes best. There's space for the platform, a crowd around it and a red carpet leading in. Corporate launches and big birthdays fit here.
A Brooklyn warehouse or loft. If your Williamsburg party space has brick walls and high ceilings, that makes a strong background on its own. Put the platform near the middle of the room and let the crowd circle it. This is a good setup for 80s nights and theme parties.
A grand ballroom. At a formal wedding at The Plaza Hotel in Midtown, a 360 Booth with the red carpet VIP setup ($200) and stanchions feels like part of the night instead of a gadget. Book an attendant so the line stays orderly in dresses and suits.
House parties work too. A sweet 16 in a finished basement in Staten Island or a backyard in Yonkers can fit the platform if you clear the furniture.

A 35% deposit locks your date. The balance is due 7 days before the event for delivery, or when you pick up. New York City events carry 8.875% sales tax, and card payments include a 5% processing fee.
Questions people ask
How many people can be on the platform at once?
Usually 1 to 4 guests, depending on the platform size. Bigger groups can take turns.
Do I need an attendant for a 360 Booth?
It's optional, but a 360 draws a crowd fast. An attendant at $50 an hour helps guests on and off the platform and keeps the line moving, which is useful at proms, sweet 16s and weddings.
Can we pick the music on the videos?
Yes. Add one song choice for $85 and it plays on every video.
Is a 360 Booth more expensive than a photo booth with prints?
Not with us. The 360 Booth starts at $249 for 2 hours. The Printer Booth starts at $298.
