360 Photo Booth Rental San Francisco Bay Area Guide

360 photo booth and prop table set up by big windows

Picture a sweet 16 in San Jose around 9 p.m. Dinner is done, the DJ is warming up, and a circle of teenagers is standing around a small platform, phones out, cheering while a friend strikes a pose and the camera circles her. Moments later the slow-motion video is on her phone, and three more friends are already stepping up. That's what a 360 photo booth rental in the San Francisco Bay Area does to a room: it becomes the place everyone wants to stand.

Here's how the EMCO 360 Booth works, what it costs, and how to set it up for the kind of event you're planning.

How the 360 Booth works

Guests step onto the platform. A camera circles them and records a slow-motion video made for Instagram and TikTok. The video is sent to their phone right after the spin.

Every rental includes:

  • Unlimited videos for the whole rental
  • A personalized template on the videos
  • Props

The platform usually fits 1 to 4 guests, depending on the platform size. That's enough for a couple, a set of best friends or a small team from the office.

360 photo booth rental San Francisco Bay Area prices

  • 2 hours: $249
  • 3 hours: $299
  • 4 hours: $349
  • 5 hours: $399
  • 6 hours: $449

All prices are before tax. Bay Area events are taxed at 10.25%, so a 4-hour rental you pick up yourself comes to $384.77 with tax. Card payments add a 5% fee.

The 360 Booth costs less than our Printer Booth because guests get videos on their phones instead of prints. Every extra hour after the second is $50, so longer events don't get expensive fast.

Pickup from our location is free, and you return it the day after. Delivery and setup is $75. A 35% deposit holds the date, and the balance is due 7 days before the event when we deliver, or at pickup.

Add-ons by event type

The 360 Booth has its own set of extras:

  • 1 song choice on every video: $85
  • Customized template overlay on every video: $150
  • Shimmery backdrop: $100
  • Red carpet VIP with stanchions: $200
  • Digital gallery: $120
  • LED inflatable: $240
  • Extra lighting kit: $145
  • Flower wall: $530, or grass wall: $500
  • Attendant: $50 an hour

Which ones matter depends on the crowd.

Sweet 16s and proms

Teens want the video to feel like a music clip. The song choice puts their track on every spin, and the red carpet makes walking up to the platform part of the show. A San Jose sweet 16 with 4 hours, the song, the red carpet and delivery comes to $709 before tax.

Company launches and team events

Tech companies in Mountain View, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale often care most about branding. The customized template puts your logo or launch name on every video, so every share carries it. Add an attendant to keep the line moving. A 3-hour launch party with the custom template, an attendant and delivery is $674 before tax.

Weddings

A 360 Booth gives a reception something to watch, not just something to do. The Palace of Fine Arts, with its landmark rotunda and lagoon, is the kind of setting where slow-motion spins look like a movie scene. For a 5-hour reception, a shimmery backdrop, the digital gallery, an attendant and delivery bring the total to $944 before tax.

80s nights and theme parties

Theme parties in Oakland, Berkeley or Walnut Creek are made for this booth. Costumes look great in slow motion. The LED inflatable frames the platform with light and the song choice locks in the theme. A 2-hour 80s night with both, picked up, is $574 before tax.

Space and setup tips

A 360 Booth needs more open floor than a booth that stands against a wall, because the camera goes all the way around the guests. A few things help:

  1. Ask your venue where an open spot is before the day. A corner by the dance floor usually works.
  2. Leave space around the platform for people to watch. Half the fun is the crowd.
  3. Plan for a power outlet near the setup.
  4. Book an attendant for big groups. They help guests and keep things moving.

San Francisco venues can be compact, while South Bay offices and event halls can be huge. If space is tight, tell us about your room when you book.

Questions people ask

How many people can be on the 360 platform at once?

Usually 1 to 4 guests, depending on the platform size.

Can we pick the music for the videos?

Yes. Add one song choice for $85 and it plays on every video.

How fast do guests get their videos?

Videos are sent to guests' phones right after they spin, so they can post before they're back at the table.

Is a 360 booth more expensive than a print booth in the Bay Area?

Not with us. The 360 Booth starts at $249 for 2 hours. Our Printer Booth starts at $298. Both are before the 10.25% Bay Area tax.
