360 Photo Booth Rental Chicago: Where It Fits Best

360 photo booth platform with a gold backdrop and ring light

A 360 photo booth rental in Chicago looks different depending on the room. The platform needs open floor, decent light and a crowd that wants to watch. So instead of starting with a price list, let's walk through a few kinds of Chicagoland venues and how the 360 Booth fits each one. Prices and add-ons come after.

Quick refresher on how it works: guests step onto the platform, a camera circles them, and a slow-motion video is sent to their phones right after the spin. Usually 1 to 4 people fit on the platform at once, depending on its size.

Lakefront halls: let the skyline do the work

Start at Navy Pier in Streeterville. Its event halls sit right on the lake, and the city skyline makes a backdrop no wall can match. Set the platform where guests spin with the view behind them and every video gets the skyline for free.

This kind of setting suits:

  • Corporate launches and company parties, with a customized template ($150) that puts your logo on every video
  • Weddings where the couple wants a big moment after the first dance
  • Proms and sweet 16s, where the videos go straight to TikTok and Instagram

Add one song choice for $85 and your track plays on every video.

Hotel ballrooms near O'Hare and in Schaumburg

Big ballrooms have the opposite problem: lots of space, and nothing pulling guests to one spot. A 360 Booth gives the room a centerpiece.

Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago on Bryn Mawr Avenue in Rosemont has a Grand Ballroom that holds thousands, plus the top floor Ventanas room with skyline views. At a reception that size, the platform becomes the place people line up between songs.

Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel has a ballroom that seats close to 2,000 for banquets. For a big wedding or company gala there, pair the 360 Booth with our Digital Booth so guests have something to do between courses.

At rooms this size, an attendant is a smart add. At $50 an hour, they run the booth, help guests and keep the line moving. A red carpet with stanchions ($200) also makes the walk up feel like an entrance.

Patios, lawns and warehouse floors

Not every Chicagoland party is in a ballroom. Some of the best spots for a 360 Booth are outside or in rooms with character:

  • Bolingbrook Golf Club on Rodeo Drive hosts weddings, birthdays and South Asian celebrations with ceremonies overlooking the course. A platform on the patio makes the most of that view.
  • The Haight in downtown Elgin is a restored 1890 warehouse with three stories of indoor and outdoor space. The open floor has plenty of room for the platform.
  • Naper Settlement in downtown Naperville rents the modern Birck Family Innovation Gateway, a clean backdrop for showers and company events.

We also cover parties in Joliet, Orland Park, Oak Brook, St. Charles, Crystal Lake and the rest of the area. The Chicago photo booth rental page has the full picture.

Questions people ask

How much room does the 360 Booth need?

Enough open floor for the platform, room for the camera to circle guests, and a little space for a line. Tell us about your room when you request a quote and we'll help you pick the spot.

How do guests get their videos at a Chicago party?

The videos are sent to their phones right after they spin, so they can post before they're back at their table.

Do I need an attendant for the 360 Booth?

It's optional. For big receptions in Rosemont or Schaumburg ballrooms, an attendant at $50 an hour helps guests and keeps the line moving.

Can the videos show our names or logo?

Every rental includes a personalized template. For a fully custom overlay on every video, add the customized template for $150.
