Digital Photo Booth Rental in Delaware: Prices and Tips

A digital photo booth rental in Delaware from EMCO Booth costs $228 for 2 hours. That's the full booth price, and Delaware events have no sales tax added on top. Below is every hour option, what comes with the booth, a few sample totals and the extras that are actually worth paying for.
Digital photo booth rental Delaware prices by the hour
The Digital Booth is our lowest priced booth because there's no printer or camera rig to haul. Here's what each length costs:
- 2 hours: $228
- 3 hours: $278
- 4 hours: $348
- 5 hours: $418
- 6 hours: $488
Every rental includes unlimited pictures, a personalized picture design and props. Guests snap photos, GIFs and boomerangs, then type in a phone number or scan a QR code. The photos land on their phone in seconds, so nobody waits in a second line for a print.
Since Delaware has no sales tax on your booking, the price you see is the price you pay. The one thing that can change it at checkout is paying by card, which adds a 5% processing fee.
Three sample totals
Numbers are easier to plan with when you see them added up. These are examples, not packages, so mix and match however you like.
- Graduation party in Middletown, 3 hours, picked up: $278. Pickup is free, so that's the whole bill.
- Birthday at a beach house in Rehoboth Beach, 4 hours, delivered: $348 for the booth plus $75 delivery. $423 total. A 35% deposit of $148.05 holds the date.
- Garden wedding at Winterthur, 5 hours: $418 for the booth, $530 for the flower wall backdrop, $250 for an attendant (5 hours at $50) and $75 delivery. $1,273 total.
The deposit is always 35% of the booking. If we deliver, the balance is due 7 days before the event. If you pick up, you pay the balance at pickup.
Where a digital booth makes sense in Delaware
Phones are already out at every party, so a booth that sends straight to them fits a lot of events. These are the ones it suits best around the state.
Graduation parties. Open houses in Newark, Bear and Hockessin tend to run long with people coming and going. A digital booth means every guest leaves with their photo already on their phone, even if they only stopped by for an hour.
Birthdays and sweet 16s. Teens care more about GIFs and boomerangs they can post than about a paper strip. For a backyard party in Smyrna or Dover, 2 or 3 hours is usually plenty.
Beach parties and reunions. Summer weekends in Lewes and Dewey Beach mean rented houses and big family groups. The booth travels well and works under a tent, so it's easy to set up on a deck or in a living room.
Garden weddings on a budget. At a place like Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library, the Digital Booth paired with our flower wall backdrop gives photos that look like part of the setting, without the cost of a print booth.
Office and holiday parties. Wilmington and Dover workplaces can add a branded design so every shared photo carries the company name.
Add-ons worth a look
You don't need any extras for the booth to work. Still, a few make a real difference:
- Unlimited printing, $240. Turns the digital booth into a print booth too. Good if older relatives will be there.
- Shimmery backdrop, $100. The cheapest way to make photos look finished.
- Digital gallery, $120. Every photo from the night in one online album you can share after.
- Extra lighting kit, $145. Helpful for evening parties in a tent or a dim hall.
- Attendant, $50 an hour. Worth it for weddings and big crowds. Skip it for casual house parties.
Other options include a fully customized picture ($150), red carpet with stanchions ($200), an LED inflatable frame ($240), the flower wall ($530) and a grass wall ($500).

Do you charge sales tax on photo booth rentals in Delaware?
No. Delaware events have no sales tax added. The only extra at payment is a 5% fee if you pay by card.
Can I switch from digital to prints after I book?
You can add unlimited printing to the Digital Booth for $240, and guests get prints on the spot as well as on their phones.
