Digital Photo Booth Rental Atlanta: Prices and Party Tips

Couple holding funny signs at a photo booth with a gold sequin backdrop

Picture a graduation party in a backyard in Marietta. The grandparents want one nice photo with the grad in a cap and gown. The cousins want a boomerang. Nobody wants to stand in line in the heat waiting for a printer. That's the kind of party a digital photo booth rental in Atlanta handles best. Guests take photos, GIFs and boomerangs, and the files land on their phones in seconds by text or QR code.

Here's what it costs, how it runs and which Atlanta parties it suits most.

Digital photo booth rental Atlanta prices

The Digital Booth is the lowest-priced booth we rent. Every package includes unlimited pictures, a personalized picture with your names, date and colors, and a set of props.

  • 2 hours: $228
  • 3 hours: $278
  • 4 hours: $348
  • 5 hours: $418
  • 6 hours: $488

Events in the Atlanta metro are charged 8.9% sales tax. A 3-hour rental picked up from us comes to $278 plus $24.74 in tax, or $302.74.

Pickup from our location is free, and you bring the booth back the day after your event. If you'd rather skip the drive, delivery and setup is $75. A 35% deposit holds your date. The balance is due 7 days before the event if we deliver, or when you pick up. Card payments add a 5% processing fee.

How a digital booth runs at a party

There isn't much to learn. A guest walks up, taps the screen and poses. The booth counts down, takes the shot and asks where to send it. They type in a phone number or scan a QR code, and the photo, GIF or boomerang is on their phone before they're back at the food table.

A few things make it a good match for busy parties:

  • No print line. Groups move through quickly because nobody waits on paper.
  • Every share carries your design. The personalized picture puts your names, the date or the grad's name on each photo, so that's what shows up in group chats and on Instagram.
  • Small footprint. It fits in a corner of a living room, a finished basement or the end of a patio.
  • Easy to run on its own. Most guests get it on the first try. If you'd like someone there anyway, an attendant is $50 an hour.

Atlanta parties that fit it best

The digital booth is built for events where guests care more about posting than about holding a print. Around Metro Atlanta, that usually means:

  1. Graduation parties. Open houses in Kennesaw, Smyrna and Lawrenceville run for hours with people coming and going. A 4- or 5-hour rental covers the whole afternoon.
  2. Birthdays and sweet 16s. Teens in Alpharetta and Johns Creek want GIFs and boomerangs more than strips, and this booth gives them both.
  3. Office and holiday parties. Company events in Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and Buckhead get a branded design on every shot, so each post carries the company name.
  4. Weddings on a budget. For a reception in Decatur or Peachtree City where every dollar counts, 4 hours at $348 keeps guests busy for less than a printing booth.

It also works at larger venues. Garden weddings and parties at the Atlanta Botanical Garden in Midtown pair well with the Digital Booth and our flower wall backdrop, so the photos match the setting. For a company event at the Georgia Aquarium downtown, guests can grab a quick photo and send it before heading back to the tanks.

Add-ons worth a look

You don't need any extras. These are the ones that change a digital booth the most:

  • Unlimited printing: $240, if you decide you want prints on the spot too
  • Customized picture: $150 for a fully custom design with your names, date and colors
  • Shimmery backdrop: $100 for a sequin wall that sparkles on camera
  • Digital gallery: $120 to collect every photo from the night in one online album
  • LED inflatable: $240 for a glowing frame around the booth
  • Flower wall: $530, or a grass wall for $500

Here's a sample grad party budget: Digital Booth for 4 hours ($348), the shimmery backdrop ($100) and delivery to the house ($75). That's $523 before tax. Pick it up yourself and the same setup is $448.

Questions people ask

Can I rent a digital photo booth in Atlanta for just 2 hours?

Yes. Two hours is $228 before tax. Time it for the busiest part of the party, like right after cake or right after dinner, and you'll get the most out of it.

Is a digital booth a good choice for a wedding?

It works well for weddings on a budget. Add the digital gallery for $120 so you get every guest's photos in one album, or add unlimited printing for $240 if you still want prints.

What if we decide we want prints after booking?

Add unlimited printing for $240 and guests get prints on the spot as well as the copies on their phones.

Can I pick it up if my party is in Douglasville or Stone Mountain?

Yes. Pickup from our location is free wherever the party is. You return the booth the day after the event.
