Glam Photo Booth Rental in Baltimore: Is It Worth It?

Photo booth at an evening reception under string lights

The Glam Booth and the Printer Booth both hand guests unlimited prints. So why does a glam photo booth rental in Baltimore and Central Maryland cost more? The short answer is lighting and style. Here's a side by side so you can decide if the upgrade fits your event.

Glam Booth vs Printer Booth at a glance

  • The look. The Glam Booth uses soft beauty lighting and a black and white finish, so photos read like magazine portraits. The Printer Booth gives bright, colorful photos with a playful feel.
  • The mood. Glam suits guests who want to look their best. Printer suits guests who want to grab a prop and be silly.
  • Prints. Both include unlimited prints and a personalized design with your names, date and colors.
  • Props. Both include props, though glam crowds tend to use fewer.
  • Price for 4 hours. Glam is $479. Printer is $398. The difference is $81.

If your guests will dress up and you want photos people will actually frame, the extra $81 for 4 hours is where the Glam Booth earns its place. If the night is loud, casual and full of kids, the Printer Booth is the better pick.

Backdrops and extras that suit glam portraits

Soft light shows off texture, so the backdrop matters more here than with other booths.

  • Shimmery sequin backdrop: $100. Catches the light and sparkles behind each guest.
  • Flower wall: $530. A full floral wall that looks rich in black and white.
  • Grass wall: $500. A lush green wall that turns into soft gray tones in a mono print.
  • 4x6 prints: $200 instead of strips. Better for framing a portrait.
  • Scrapbook: $240. Guests paste a print and sign a note.
  • Customized picture: $150 for a fully custom design.
  • Digital gallery: $120 so every portrait lives in one online album.
  • Attendant: $50 an hour to pose guests and keep the line moving.

A popular glam wedding package: 5 hours ($519), 4x6 prints ($200) and the flower wall ($530). That's $1,249 before tax, plus $75 if you'd like us to deliver.

Where a Glam Booth fits around Baltimore

Glam portraits look best in rooms that already feel formal.

Historic ballroom weddings. The Belvedere in Mount Vernon is a good example. Its historic ballroom and a black and white portrait booth share the same classic feel, and the 4x6 upgrade gives guests a print worth keeping.

Galas and fundraisers. Nonprofit dinners and award nights want photos that look polished on social media the next day. A museum setting like the Baltimore Museum of Industry at the Inner Harbor adds character behind each portrait.

Milestone birthdays. A 40th, 50th or 60th in Pikesville, Towson or Owings Mills often has guests in their best outfits. Glam lighting rewards that effort.

Brand events. Product launches and boutique openings in Annapolis or Columbia can use a customized picture with the brand's logo in a clean black and white style.

Pickup, delivery and deposits

Pickup from our location is free, and you return the booth the day after the event. We also deliver and set up for $75, which most formal events choose so nobody in a suit is carrying equipment. Delivery covers towns across the area, including Ellicott City, Catonsville, Severna Park and Bel Air.

A 35% deposit holds your date. The balance is due 7 days before the event if we deliver, or at pickup.

Questions people ask

Will guests miss having color photos?

Most don't, because black and white flatters almost everyone. If you want color as well, ask us when you book.

What should guests wear for glam photos?

Whatever they'd wear to the event. Solid colors and some texture, like sequins or lace, look great in black and white.

Is the Glam Booth a good choice for a kids' party?

It can work, but kids usually have more fun with the props and colors of a Printer Booth or the videos from a 360 Booth.

Which backdrop looks best with glam lighting?

The shimmery sequin backdrop at $100 is the most popular. For weddings, the flower wall at $530 gives a richer look.
