Glam Photo Booth Rental Chicago: Glam vs. Printer Booth

Most people looking at a glam photo booth rental in Chicago end up choosing between two of our booths: the Glam Booth and the Printer Booth. Both print unlimited photos. Both come with a personalized design and props. The difference is the look, and about $81 for a 2-hour rental. Here's how to decide.
Glam Booth vs. Printer Booth, side by side
- The look. The Glam Booth uses soft beauty lighting and a classic black-and-white finish, so guests come out looking like a magazine portrait. The Printer Booth gives you the fun, everyday party photo.
- The mood. Glam photos feel elegant. Printer photos are where the props and silly faces shine.
- Prints. Both include unlimited prints. Both offer the 4x6 upgrade ($200) and the scrapbook ($240).
- Price for 2 hours. Glam is $379. Printer is $298.
- Price for 4 hours. Glam is $479. Printer is $398.
- Price for 6 hours. Glam is $559. Printer is $498.
- Add-ons. The same list works with both, from backdrops to an attendant.
If your event is a black-tie wedding, a gala or a milestone birthday where people dress up, the Glam Booth is usually the better match. If it's a family party where the kids will be in the booth all night, the Printer Booth costs less and fits the energy.
When the Glam Booth is worth it
The Glam Booth earns its price when the photos will be kept, framed or shared as portraits rather than party snapshots. It's a natural fit for:
- Weddings, especially formal hotel and ballroom receptions
- Galas and fundraisers where guests are dressed for it
- Milestone birthdays like a 40th, 50th or 60th
- Brand events that want polished photos with a logo on them
Black and white is the signature look. If you'd like color too, ask us when you book.
Glam photo booth rental Chicago venues
Some Chicagoland rooms almost ask for black-and-white portraits.
Chicago Cultural Center in the Loop rents spaces under its famous Tiffany dome. Marble, mosaics and a black-and-white portrait are a classic combination for a wedding or gala there.
Oak Park Banquets at the Nineteenth Century Club is a 1928 landmark in the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District, with a second floor ballroom that seats 250 for dinner. The historic room suits a timeless portrait.
The Westin O'Hare in Rosemont has a Grand Ballroom that hosts weddings for up to 600 with dancing. The polished hotel setting pairs well with soft beauty light.
Chandler's Chophouse Grille & Banquets at the Schaumburg Golf Club is a Prairie style banquet center with warm wood and Frank Lloyd Wright inspired design, another good match.
We also bring the Glam Booth to weddings and parties in Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Evanston, Naperville and Arlington Heights. For more on what we offer across the area, see our Chicago photo booth rental page.
