Northwest Indiana Photo Booth Guide for Weddings and Holiday Parties

Couple spinning on a 360 photo booth platform

Northwest Indiana throws two kinds of parties really well: big Saturday weddings and December holiday parties. Hammond, Merrillville and Crown Point all have banquet rooms that book up for both. Our Chicago service area includes NW Indiana, so here's how to plan a booth for either one.

Weddings vs. holiday parties: what changes

The booth is the same. What guests want from it isn't.

  • Weddings run longer and are more personal. Couples usually want prints with their names and date, and a guest book to keep.
  • Holiday parties are shorter and looser. Guests want something quick and fun to share, and the photos often end up in the company group chat.

Pick your booth with that in mind.

Local rooms worth knowing

Avalon Manor, Merrillville

Avalon Manor on Route 30 calls itself the largest freestanding banquet facility in Northwest Indiana, with space for groups from 20 to over 1,100. It hosts weddings, corporate events and social parties. In a room that size, booking two booths, like a 360 Booth and a Printer Booth, spreads guests out so neither line gets long.

White Hawk Country Club, Crown Point

White Hawk Country Club has a banquet hall with floor-to-ceiling windows and a renovated ballroom for up to 250. For a wedding with golf course views, a Glam Booth gives guests black-and-white portraits that feel as polished as the room.

Lost Marsh, Hammond

The clubhouse at Lost Marsh Golf Course near Wolf Lake has a 240-seat banquet room on its second level, with balconies outside. It works for both weddings and company holiday parties. A Digital Booth fits easily and texts photos to guests right away.
