Photo Booth Rental with Prints in the San Francisco Bay Area

Start at San Francisco City Hall in Civic Center. Ride up to the Fairmont San Francisco on Nob Hill. Finish at the Palace of Fine Arts. Three very different rooms, and all three are good places for a photo booth rental with prints in the San Francisco Bay Area. Here's how the EMCO Printer Booth fits each one, what it costs and which extras are worth paying for.
Three San Francisco rooms, one printed keepsake
San Francisco City Hall, Civic Center. City Hall weddings are often small, with a reception right after. A Printer Booth at that reception gives every guest a print with your names and date on it. It's a simple way to make sure the day ends up on paper, not just in a camera roll.
Fairmont San Francisco, Nob Hill. Formal weddings and galas here tend to be long nights with a big guest list. Unlimited prints means nobody gets told "one per person." Pair the booth with the scrapbook and the prints turn into a guestbook you'll actually open again.
Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco. The rotunda is the star at this venue, but a reception still needs something for guests to do between dinner and dancing. A Printer Booth with a shimmery backdrop gives them a spot to gather and a print to take home.
These are ideas for how the booth fits each space. Check your venue's own rules on vendors and setup before you book.

Strips, 4x6 prints and the scrapbook
Prints are where this booth earns its price, so it helps to know your options.
Strips come standard. They're the classic photo booth look and easy to tuck into a wallet or stick on a fridge.
4x6 prints are a $200 upgrade. They're bigger, easier to frame, and better for group shots where eight cousins squeeze into one photo.
The scrapbook is $240. Guests paste a print into the book and write a note next to it. You go home with a guestbook full of faces, not just signatures.
Other add-ons for this booth:
- Customized picture, fully custom: $150
- Shimmery sequin backdrop: $100
- Digital gallery with every photo in one album: $120
- Red carpet VIP with stanchions: $200
- LED inflatable frame: $240
- Extra lighting kit: $145
- Flower wall: $530, or grass wall: $500
- Attendant: $50 an hour
Beyond the city: weddings, quinceañeras and reunions
The Printer Booth is the party classic for events where the keepsake matters. A few that fit it best around the Bay:
Weddings. From vineyard weddings in Napa to hotel receptions in San Mateo and Redwood City, prints double as favors. Guests leave with one, and the scrapbook keeps one for you.
Quinceañeras. Big family guest lists in Oakland, Hayward and San Jose mean a lot of people who want a print of the night. A 5- or 6-hour rental keeps the booth open from the entrance to the last dance.
Anniversaries and reunions. Older guests often like something they can hold. A 3-hour rental at a family anniversary in Walnut Creek or a class reunion in Pleasanton covers the main part of the evening without paying for hours nobody uses.
Here's how three of those might add up, before tax:
- Napa wedding, 5 hours: Printer Booth ($448), 4x6 prints ($200), scrapbook ($240) and delivery ($75). Total $963.
- Oakland quinceañera, 6 hours: Printer Booth ($498), shimmery backdrop ($100), LED inflatable ($240), attendant for 6 hours ($300) and delivery ($75). Total $1,213.
- Pleasanton reunion, 3 hours, picked up: $348.
