Printer Photo Booth Rental New York City: Prints for Guests

Photo booth and printer with quinceañera props and balloons

Picture a Saturday wedding reception in Manhattan. Dinner plates are cleared, the music starts, and a small crowd forms by the booth. Two cousins squeeze in with an inflatable guitar, the print drops a few seconds later, and they paste it into the scrapbook before heading to the dance floor. That's the point of a printer photo booth rental in New York City: everyone leaves with something they can hold. Here's how the EMCO Booth Printer Booth works, what it costs and how to plan around it.

What happens at the booth

Guests step up, pose with the props and take their photos. The booth prints on the spot. Every print carries your personalized design with your names, date and colors, so the strip on someone's fridge a year from now still says whose party it was.

A few details people ask about:

  • Prints are unlimited. Every guest can print as many times as they want during your rental.
  • Strips come standard. If you'd rather have bigger photos, the 4x6 upgrade is $200.
  • Props are included, along with the personalized picture design.
  • You can go fully custom. A customized picture is $150 if you want a design built from scratch around your theme.

Printer photo booth rental New York City pricing

Here's what the Printer Booth costs by length, before tax:

  1. 2 hours: $298
  2. 3 hours: $348
  3. 4 hours: $398
  4. 5 hours: $448
  5. 6 hours: $498

Add-ons that go well with prints:

  • Scrapbook: $240. Guests paste a print and write a note, so it doubles as your guest book.
  • Digital gallery: $120. Every photo in one online album, handy for guests who lost their strip on the subway home.
  • Attendant: $50 an hour. They run the booth, help guests and keep the line moving.
  • Backdrops: shimmery sequin $100, grass wall $500, flower wall $530. See them on the backdrops page.
  • Red carpet VIP $200, LED inflatable $240, extra lighting kit $145.

A sample wedding budget: a 5-hour Printer Booth ($448), the scrapbook ($240), an attendant for 5 hours ($250) and delivery ($75) comes to $1,013 before tax. The deposit on that is $354.55.

Events where prints matter most

Some parties are happy with photos on phones. Others really want paper. The Printer Booth fits best at:

  • Weddings. The scrapbook turns the booth into a guest book people actually fill in.
  • Quinceañeras. Big family crowds, lots of group shots, and every tía wants her own copy.
  • Anniversaries. Older guests often prefer a print they can hold over a text message.
  • Reunions. A family or class reunion in New Rochelle, Mount Vernon or Hempstead gives everyone a strip to take back home.

Large rooms suit it too. The open event spaces at Chelsea Piers work well for a Printer Booth because guests can grab a print on their way to the dance floor without slowing down the party. For a formal ballroom wedding at The Plaza Hotel, 4x6 prints and a shimmery backdrop give the photos a dressier feel.

Smaller spaces are fine as well. A birthday in a Williamsburg apartment or a backyard in Staten Island has room for the booth and a short line.

Getting the booth to your event

Pickup from our location is free, and you bring it back the day after your event. Prefer not to haul it? We deliver and set it up for $75.

A 35% deposit holds your date. The balance is due 7 days before the event when we deliver, or at pickup. Sales tax for New York City events is 8.875%, and card payments include a 5% processing fee.

One planning tip: if your party runs long, book the hours around the busiest stretch rather than the whole night. A 4-hour rental that starts after dinner usually catches more guests than one that starts at cocktail hour and ends before the dancing.

Questions people ask

Are the prints really unlimited?

Yes. Every guest can print as many times as they want for the length of your rental, at no extra cost.

Should I pick strips or 4x6 prints for a wedding?

Strips are classic and come standard. 4x6 prints are bigger and look good in a frame or scrapbook. The upgrade is $200.

Can the prints match our wedding colors?

Yes. The personalized design includes your names, date and colors. For a fully custom look, the customized picture add-on is $150.

How is this different from the Glam Booth?

Both include unlimited prints. The Glam Booth adds soft beauty lighting and a black and white finish, and starts at $379 for 2 hours versus $298 for the Printer Booth.
