Digital Photo Booth Rental in Los Angeles: Prices and Tips

Let's start with the numbers, because that's what most people want first. A digital photo booth rental in Los Angeles and Orange County with EMCO Booth starts at $228 for 2 hours. Below is every hour price, every add-on the booth takes, and what tax, pickup and delivery add. No quote form and no waiting for a callback.
What a digital photo booth rental in Los Angeles costs
The Digital Booth is the lowest-priced booth we rent. Here's the full price list before tax:
- 2 hours: $228
- 3 hours: $278
- 4 hours: $348
- 5 hours: $418
- 6 hours: $488
Every rental includes unlimited pictures, a personalized photo design and props. Guests take photos, GIFs and boomerangs, then get them on their phones in seconds by text or QR code. Nobody waits at a printer, and every photo they share carries your design.
Sales tax for the Los Angeles metro is 9.5%. So the 2-hour rental comes to $249.66 with tax, and a 3-hour rental at $278 comes to $304.41. If you pay by card, a 5% processing fee is added.
Why is it cheaper than our other booths? There's no printer, no paper and no special camera rig to bring. We pass that savings on.
Add-ons the Digital Booth takes
You don't need any of these. The booth works well on its own. But if you want more, here's what you can add and what each one costs:
- Unlimited printing: $240, so guests get a print on the spot too
- Customized picture: $150, a fully custom design with your names, date and colors
- Shimmery sequin backdrop: $100
- Digital gallery: $120, every photo from the night in one online album
- Red carpet VIP with stanchions: $200
- LED inflatable to frame the booth: $240
- Extra lighting kit: $145, for brighter, cleaner photos
- Flower wall: $530, or grass wall: $500
- Attendant to run the booth and help guests: $50 an hour
If you only pick one, we'd look at the shimmery backdrop. Plenty of backyards and event rooms have a cluttered wall or a garage door behind where the booth goes. A $100 sequin wall fixes that and makes every shot look planned.
Where it fits best in LA and Orange County
The Digital Booth is compact and sets up fast, so it works in spaces where a bigger booth would feel crowded. These are the events it suits best around the metro:
- Graduation parties. Backyard open houses in Torrance, Downey and Long Beach, where aunts and grandparents want the photos on their phones before they drive home.
- Birthdays and sweet 16s. Teens in Glendale or Burbank care more about a boomerang they can post than a print. The GIF and boomerang modes get used a lot.
- Office and holiday parties. Teams in Culver City, Irvine or Santa Monica can put the company logo on the photo design, so every shared photo shows it.
- Weddings on a budget. If most of the money is going to the venue and the food, the Digital Booth keeps the photo booth line low without skipping it.
It also holds its own in a big room. A company dinner in one of the ballrooms at The Biltmore Los Angeles in Downtown LA is a good fit for a Digital Booth with a branded design, since guests share straight from their seats. Add the digital gallery and you get every photo from the night in one album to send around the office the next morning.
Pickup, delivery and three sample budgets
Pickup from our location is free. You grab the booth before your event and return it the day after. If you'd rather not load it into your car, we deliver and set it up for $75.
A 35% deposit holds your date. The balance is due 7 days before the event if we deliver, or when you pick up.
Here's how a few real combinations add up before tax:
- Grad party in Downey, 2 hours, picked up: $228.
- Sweet 16 in Glendale, 3 hours, shimmery backdrop and delivery: $278 + $100 + $75 = $453.
- Office party in Irvine, 4 hours, customized picture, digital gallery, a 4-hour attendant and delivery: $348 + $150 + $120 + $200 + $75 = $893.
The cheapest way to do it: book 2 hours, time them for the busiest part of the party, and pick it up yourself.
Questions people ask
Do guests need to download an app to get their photos?
No. They type in a phone number or scan a QR code, and the photos land on their phone right away.
Is the Digital Booth enough for a wedding?
It can be. If you want guests to leave with something in hand, add unlimited printing for $240, or look at the Printer Booth, which includes unlimited prints and starts at $298 for 2 hours.
Are prices different in Orange County?
No. Anaheim, Irvine and the rest of the metro get the same booth prices as Los Angeles, the same $75 delivery and the same free pickup.
Do I need an attendant for a backyard party?
Usually not. Guests figure out the Digital Booth fast. An attendant at $50 an hour makes more sense for a work event where you want someone greeting people and keeping things moving.
